George Trajtenberg, M.D., FACS
After completing his general surgical residency at the Medical College of Pennsylvania in 1982, Dr. George Trajtenberg joined the medical staff of The Chester County Hospital which he has tirelessly served as both participant and chairman on numerous committees. Presently, he holds the post of Chief of the Department of Surgery while serving on the Executive Committee, New Technology Committee, Infection Control Committee and many others.
Additionally, he has been very active in several local and national professional organizations, and he has served as the President of the Chester County Medical Society. He is also a generous supporter of many community organizations such as the West Chester Rotary Club, the Boy Scouts of America and the Central Chester County YMCA. Despite a busy clinical practice, Dr. Trajtenberg travels extensively while lecturing on various advances in general surgical techniques.
